Adventures Ahead: Taking Bucking Hell Apparel on the Road 🐎

There’s something about a country market that just feels right.

The early mornings. The smell of grass and coffee. Horses being plaited in the distance. People wandering past with muddy boots, dogs on leads, and stories to tell. It’s busy, it’s chaotic, and it’s full of character. And very soon, Bucking Hell Apparel will be right in the middle of it all.

Over the coming months, I’m packing up the embroidery machines, loading the van, and heading out to country shows and markets with a brand-new idea: mobile horse rug embroidery, done on the spot.

From Workshop to Wheels

What started as a “what if?” quickly turned into a proper plan. The horse van has been transformed into a little working studio, complete with embroidery machines, samples, and space to chat through designs. The aim is simple: bring the service to you.

No posting rugs away. No long waits wondering where they’ve gone. Just real conversations, real stitching, and seeing your rug come to life right there at the show.

Why Country Markets?

Because this is where the horse world actually lives.

Country markets and shows aren’t just about shopping. They’re about connection. They’re where you bump into people you haven’t seen in years, admire other horses, swap recommendations, and find small businesses that really get it. That’s exactly the energy I want Bucking Hell Apparel to be part of.

There’s something special about standing at a stall, watching embroidery stitch name after name, title after title, knowing each one means something to the person holding that rug.

What You’ll See at the Van

If you spot the Bucking Hell Apparel van at a market, you can expect:

Live embroidery on horse rugs

Hanging samples to browse at your own pace

A proper look at fonts, colours, and layouts

A friendly, no-pressure chat about what would work best for your horse

And yes… an easy pay station for those “go on then” moments 😉

Whether you’re after something practical, sentimental, or a little bit special for the show ring, the goal is to make it simple, personal, and enjoyable.

A Bit of Nerves, A Lot of Excitement

I won’t pretend there aren’t nerves. Taking a business on the road is a big step. But it’s also exciting in the best way. This feels like the next chapter for Bucking Hell Apparel, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.

If you’re heading to a country market or show soon, keep an eye out. Come and say hello. Have a look at the stitching. Ask questions. Even if you’re “just browsing”, you’re always welcome.

Here’s to muddy boots, busy days, and new adventures ahead.

See you at the market. 🐎✨
